The recent flooding along London Road has been a huge concern. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated issue, with many recent and similar issues across Milton Keynes as a result of heavy rainfall.
As your local Conservative ward team, we are continuing to call for investment to protect our local area from flood damage.
In this year’s Local Council budget, we have asked for £140,000 of investment for much needed flood alleviation work right here on London Road.
We will now be pressing the Labour-run Council to accept this budget proposal.
It is vitally important that we invest in and modernise our flood defence infrastructure to safeguard your homes from the threat of flooding in the future.
