A planning application has been submitted to install a gas tanker off-loading facility at the British Gas Depot on Bletchley Road in Newton Longville.
Although this proposed site comes under the Aylesbury Vale Area and Buckinghamshire Council, it’s going to affect residents here in Bletchley East, but there has been NO consultation with West Bletchley Council or Milton Keynes Council.
The proposal includes 4 HGV bays to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That means huge lorries carrying gas going backwards and forwards, day and night, weekday and weekend on Bletchley Road, Whaddon Road, Stoke Road and Newton Road.
